Early College On-Campus
Enjoy being a part of our vibrant community by participating in our Early College program on campus.
You can earn college credits at a discounted rate and experience our Christian community. Northwestern offers on-campus Early College for those students who are 15 years of age and older, and are interested in face-to-face learning. We are located on Lake Johanna in the suburban Roseville/Arden Hills area on Minnesota, with a scenic lake view and only ten minutes from the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
If you choose to participate in the Early College program on-campus, you will be paired up with a student mentor for your first semester on-campus. This mentor will help you transition into the Northwestern community and provide you with an instant contact.
With the on-campus commuting option, you can join approximately 1,800 traditional undergraduate students who benefit from small classes, a strong sense of community, and meaningful interaction with professors in and outside of the classroom.
If you are an on-campus Early College student, you are now eligible to live in the dorms at Northwestern. While many students in the on-campus Early College program choose to commute, senior high school students who are 17 years old at the beginning of their courses may live in dorms alongside traditional Northwestern students. If you choose to reside in the dorms through the on-campus Early College program, you are responsible to pay for your own room and board.
On-Campus Courses Available
On-campus, you will have access to hundreds of courses each semester and can participate in many extracurricular groups such as musical ensembles, theatre, clubs, and intramural sports. You may participate in many of our 1,000 and 2,000 level courses on-campus; however, we recommend that you work with your high school guidance counselor to determine which courses to take for high school completion. Check out our on-campus course catalog for details.
